Hey guys, I hope you're having a great break so far and are ready for the new year!
For those of you that didn't go on the Killington trip, well... you really missed out. We had a great time out on the mountain with awesome weather (minus the rain on the last day) and a killer time off the mountain partying in the condos ("The Floor Is Lava Party" anyone??). While our winter trip has come and gone, we will still be having one next year so tell your friends, and get on that as soon as you can!
As you might have noticed, the weather around here in Ohio has, for lack of a better word, sucked. BUT, Mad River is still open, and as temperatures continue to drop they will keep making more and more snow. If you haven't already picked up your pass, just go to the ticket office and tell them that you're there to pick up your pass with the OSU Ski Team. If you have any issues with the office, just give me, TPalms, a call on the spot and I'll do my best to help you out (my number is (513)519-7728).
Sidenote: Passes are still available if you have not purchased one yet. Contact an officer for more information.
Racing!
For those of you who have never been on our weekend trips I HIGHLY suggest you come to one and check it out, even if you aren't racing. We usually leave early in the morning on Saturday, race/ride all day, then come back to the hotel and party (our hotel parties are infamous), and then on Sunday we get up and do it all again.
If you paid team dues, your hotel fee is covered and all you have to do is just show up and have fun. If you didn't pay team dues, you are still more than welcome to join us, there will just be a small fee (TBD) to cover the hotel cost.
The purpose of these weekends is to get out there and compete but it is not required (it's definitely recommended, however as it can be a ton of fun) that you race.
If you have not done so already, we need you to fill out this form for USCSA and pay the additional $10 fee via credit card, make sure to select the correct link. Also, print out and sign the attached files if you haven't done so already. This needs to be done ASAP.

Events are being determined as we speak we will have skiing and boarding SL and GS and some slope style, jumping and skier and boarder cross. Not all the events all weekends but we will have most of them.
